National Children’s and Literature Day is held every first week in June. Schools, nurseries, libraries, mothers’ centres, literary cafes, the general public and others throughout the Czech Republic can participate in the literature celebrating event.

Slavnostní zahájení 11. Týdne čtení dětem proběhlo v pondělí 4. října v Luhačovicích a přivedlo do kulturního domu ELEKTRA zpěvačku KACZI, spisovatelku PETRU DVOŘÁKOVOU, herce MIROSLAVA ETZLERA a ROBERTA JAŠKÓWA, moderátora Lukáše Hejlíka a také scénický projekt LISTOVÁNÍ.
10. Týden čtení dětem v ČR se uskutečnil letos netradičně od 1. do 7. října 2020, ale desítky akcí, na kterých se četlo, hrálo i zpívalo, se konalo před i po tomto datu. Letošní jubileum jsme oslavili celkem třemi velkými kulturními počiny.
Tak, jako před deseti lety, den před inaugurací jsme pozvali rodiče a dospělé z okolí dítěte na samostatný program.
