The inauguration of The 3rd Week of Reading to Kids in the Czech Republic took place on 30 May 2013 at the Municipal Library of Prague. The whole programme, which was enjoyed by both children and adults, was accompanied by a bunch of animals performed by the actor, Jiří Lábus, the singer, Michal Malátný, the writer, Alena Ježková and the singer, Yvetta Blanarovičová. Pavel Kožíšek and his magic show, as well as a stage reading by the LiStOVáNí ensemble were also part of the programme.
The 3rd Week of Reading to Kids culminated with a closing ceremony at the Janáček Conservatory and Gymnasium in Ostrava on 7 June 2013.
