The opening ceremony of The 2nd Week of Reading to Kids was held on 31 May 2012 in the Bolek Polívka Theatre in Brno. The closing ceremony of The 2nd Year of Ostrava Reads to Kids took place under the auspices of the Mayor of the Statutory City of Ostrava, Petr Kajnar at the Janáček Conservatory and Gymnasium in Ostrava on Thursday, 7 June 2012.
